Tensar BX1200 is a high-performance biaxial geogrid engineered to reinforce aggregate bases over weak and variable subgrades.

Like the rest of the BX line it interlocks with crushed stone through its apertures, but its higher rib strength and junction efficiency make it the choice where a Type 2 biaxial geogrid is specified. That interlock confines the base, limits lateral movement, and increases the composite layer’s modulus under traffic.

BX1200 is used on permanent paved road bases, unpaved and temporary roads, laydown and working platforms, and slabs-on-grade. Its stiffness helps cut rutting and differential settlement, and on many designs can reduce the granular thickness needed to hit target performance.
