Tensar BX1100 Biaxial Geogrid - 12.5' x 328' Roll

Base Stabilization Geogrid

Tensar BX1100 is a punched-and-drawn biaxial geogrid built to stabilize weak subgrades and strengthen aggregate bases.

Its stiff ribs and junctions interlock with crushed stone in both directions, confining the aggregate so it resists spreading under load. Placed at the subgrade-base interface, it raises the stiffness of the base layer, reduces rutting, and improves constructability over soft or variable soils.

Used on unpaved and temporary roads, permanent road bases, working platforms, and foundations, BX1100 is commonly specified where a Type 1 biaxial geogrid is called for. On many projects the added stiffness allows a thinner aggregate section while still meeting performance targets.
